SERAG-WIESSNER pledgets are made from non-absorbable, undyed polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) felt at the company's facility in Naila, Germany. They are precision die-cut and undergo strict quality control. By reinforcing the suture line, they make it harder for sutures to cut through tissue exposed to high mechanical load. Available in 14 references — round, oval, rectangular and strip shapes, with or without holes.
